Job Purpose: As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for overseeing the review and approval of contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements. You will also support the legal affairs of the organization, working closely with the Transactional Legal group's management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in collaboration with the UK/I commercial teams.
  • Utilize sophisticated negotiation skills to direct and control contract negotiations, ensuring timely completion and meeting established milestones.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and service offerings to provide informed guidance.
  • Balance client focus with business needs, ensuring contractual terms protect the company while minimizing risk.
  • Support TD SYNNEX's Legal department systems and tools, promoting their use across the organization.
  • Foster effective working relationships with relevant employees, drawing upon expertise to achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard contract templates and pre-approved alternative language.
  • Participate in cross-regional/global negotiations, collaborating with local management teams and outside counsel as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: To excel in this role, you must possess proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in the UK/I region. A solid understanding of UK commercial laws and regulations is essential, along with aptitude for problem-solving, teamwork, and persistence. You should be able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, handling stress and pressure with ease. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. A qualified legal degree from a certified institution or related degree is necessary, along with admission to the practice of law in at least one jurisdiction.

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
