Job Description

Business Development Executive - Defense Sector

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at GMV Spain. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the Defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy Development: Analyze industry trends to suggest improvements and/or expansion of our current product and service line.
  • Opportunity Detection and Client Management: Early detection of opportunities and regular contact with clients to build strong relationships.
  • Presentation and Proposal Preparation: Prepare presentations and collaborate with the Marketing department for advertising purposes.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Conduct and complete negotiations of commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Event Representation: Actively represent GMV at trade shows, conferences, and other events, as well as in meetings with national and international clients.

Requirements:

  • Business Development Experience: Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Representative, or Sales Support Engineer.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Defense and Security industry and market in Spain and internationally.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Experience in preparing proposals and negotiating commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical issues, with effective presentation skills.
  • Language Proficiency: High proficiency in both English and Spanish.
