About the RoleThe Commercial Business Development Representative (BDR) is a targeted, commissioned role working in the Business Development Team that forms part of our Direct Sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to source and qualify Leads, converting them into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO) that the Sales Team can then close as Deals.
You will form trusted relationships with Sales and BDR Management, the wider Sales team, Marketing, and your Business Development Representative peers. Your monthly SQO target will be a key performance indicator, and your commission will be based upon the quantity of SQOs you pass to the Sales team that are accepted.
To succeed in this role, you'll work quickly and efficiently to manage your leads in the CRM, focusing on time spent on phone conversations with prospects. Conversations will relate to the Prospect's email, SMS, and multichannel marketing automation needs, so awareness of marketing principles and strategies is a big bonus.
