Purpose and Objectives
The Strategic Enterprise Sales Professional plays a critical role in SAP's efforts to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities within our partner ecosystem. This role involves developing ROI-based business models to evaluate opportunities, gathering business intelligence, and performing competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities. Effective marketing and measurement of success are key components of this role, spanning both Software and Cloud environments across various industries and customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a defined territory, the successful candidate will hunt for new clients and increase SAP's footprint by building relationships with new and existing customers through traditional and digital means. Consulting with customers on SAP products to improve processes, productivity, time reduction, cost savings, and revenue growth is also essential. Utilizing the SAP ecosystem and influencing LOB and C-level executives requires strong engagement capabilities. Collaboration with SAP Partners is vital, and the ability to support business development capabilities and organization implementation is crucial. Generating high-impact results in a team environment is also a key expectation.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in enterprise software sales is preferred, along with expertise in ERP, Digital Supply Chain, Human Resources, Customer Experience, Data Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Healthcare, Governance, Education, Retail, Wholesale, Fintech, and Transportation is also required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited university is mandatory, with an MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline being preferred. Conversational fluency in Italian and English is necessary.
