Research Business Development Manager Europe: Drive Institutional Demand for Neurodegenerative Research Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Business Development Manager to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our European Sales & Marketing Organisation, you will be responsible for driving institutional demand for our research use assays and companion instruments for neurodegenerative diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and Pursue Leads: Identify and pursue leads from neurology conferences and congresses to establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop Thought Leadership Network: Develop a network of thought leaders in research of new neurodegenerative biomarkers to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
- Build Opportunities: Build a solid funnel of opportunities with research institutes, university hospitals, and commercial labs across Europe.
- Present Value Proposition: Present the value proposition of our research use only (RUO) neuro biomarkers to customers and stakeholders.
- Close Sales Process: Generate proposals, negotiate terms, and close the sales process to secure contracts.
- Develop Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Experience: 9+ years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years with a Master's degree or Ph.D.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven track record of building a book of business from scratch and driving growth.
- Commercial Skills: Strong commercial skills, with the ability to partner with service and marketing teams to maximize value and efficiencies.
- Contracting Skills: Strong contracting skills, with the ability to generate proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Forecasting Skills: Solid forecasting skills to ensure targeted demand planning both internally and externally.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical and fact-based, with the ability to draw on knowledge and experience to drive results.
