We are committed to innovation and creativity, and we are looking for a senior analyst to join our Strategy and Planning team.
About the Team
Our Strategy and Planning team is part of our broader Sales Operations team, and we strive to help our Sales organization grow and succeed. As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for learning the ins and outs of each major MongoDB Sales Business, building relationships with senior leadership, and driving forward initiatives that will help us unlock sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive the analytical rhythm of our business, including quarterly business reviews and organizational deep dives.
- Partner with senior sales leadership to drive market and segment-specific analyses to uncover insights.
- Become an expert in business and compensation rules to fully understand how sales operates.
- Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various sales roles and compensation plans.
- Participate in quarterly and annual business planning for the sales teams.
- Collaborate with various business units to drive productivity and headcount scenario analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus (economics, finance, computer science, mathematics, etc.).
- 5+ years of work experience in sales strategy, consulting, sales operations, or analytics.
- Effective communicator who can break down complex technical concepts into simple business vernacular.
- Ability to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysis.
- Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker).
- Familiarity with databases and the differences between relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to navigate Salesforce with relative ease.
