Senior Account Executive Job Description

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding your overall revenue goal through hunting and creating a complete territory business plan that generates at least 4x your quota in pipeline opportunity.

You will identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy, and develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of SAPCX's targeted solutions (CRM, Commerce, Service, Customer Data, Marketing, CPQ). Additionally, you will contribute to seeding services to potential customers & prospects in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals.
  • Work with the Regional VAT to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals.
  • Uncover and run sales cycles based opportunities as directed by the Regional Sales Lead.
  • Work with VAT team on sales campaigns.
  • Lead efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts.
  • Work to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers.
  • Develop sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with ISV and SI partners.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions, preferably Customer Experience Solutions.
  • Experience selling to C-suite.
  • Proven track record in target achievement.
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology).
  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred.
