Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled VP of Southern Europe Sales/Business Development to lead and build a team that's dedicated to the delivery of new business, build our local footprint, and manage the teams in all countries. This role is accountable and responsible for the overall sales performance including achieving targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives aligned to the overall Nuvei business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute robust strategies to maximize revenue streams and achieve ambitious financial targets through alignment of the sales organization's objectives with the firm's business strategy.
  • Cultivate and nurture key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and alliances to enhance the organization's market presence and drive business success.
  • Provide strong and focused leadership to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting collaboration within a multicultural environment.
  • Develop and execute on the strategy to deliver successful partnerships across the payments industry to enable lead generation and product enhancements to support revenue generation.
  • Build and foster teamwork across key internal partnerships to deliver on the customer experience and overall sales targets such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Enablement, Risk, Finance, and more.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree required, Masters or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10 years+ experience in leading sales and relationship management teams.
  • 10+ years' experience in a leadership role in the payments industry and leadership experience in senior management positions.
  • Proven ability to develop and foster industry relationships with partners, merchants, and payments leaders across the industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to market changes, and driving agility within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and inspire high performing teams across a distributed workforce and multiple time zones and collaborate effectively with peers and colleagues to overcome challenges and drive teamwork for results.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed to build relationships, attend key events, and support business initiatives across the Europe region.
