Director Clinical Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Clinical Safety to join our team at Daiichi Sankyo Europe. As a key member of our Global Product Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product safety strategies and action plans to identify and manage risks.
  • Lead and medically direct a team of junior physicians and scientists responsible for compound/product safety.
  • Review and analyze data from clinical trials, post-marketing, and other relevant sources for the prompt identification of safety signals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Development, Regulatory, Project Management, Biostatistics, Pharmacology, and other departments to strategically manage benefit-risk throughout the lifecycle of the drug.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of education as a physician and approbation as physician.
  • At least four years of professional experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agency, or academia, with exposure to drug development, clinical pharmacology, and/or epidemiology.
  • Oncology product experience is preferred.
  • Fluent English in written and spoken.
