Job Title: Clinical Data Scientist

Almirall is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Scientist to join our team. As a Clinical Data Scientist, you will be responsible for capturing, integrating, and storing clinical trials information to enable efficient data analysis and results reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform internal processes and oversee CRO activities to ensure adherence to data standards, quality, and timelines.
  • Review protocols for adherence to Almirall Data Management processes and Data Standards.
  • Lead the review and approval of electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs), electronic Patient Reporting Outcomes (ePROs), and their corresponding completion guidelines.
  • Manage data findings and processes during trial conduct, ensuring alignment with responsible leads.
  • Set up and conduct data management activities, including review of annotated documents, Data Management Plans, and vendor technical specifications.
  • Closure: Manage database lock processes, review related documentation, and evaluate database quality before approval.
  • Provide necessary documentation to CROs for outsourced activities and follow up on quality and deliverables.
  • Participate in inspections and provide technical advice on Data Management methodologies and processes.
  • Collaborate in the implementation and development of new technologies and participate in Data Management Associations, trainings, and Congresses.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Life and Health Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Data Scientist or Data Manager in the Pharma industry or a CRO.
  • Working knowledge of CDSIC (SDTM standards) and clinical trials.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) across different levels within the organization.
