**The Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to develop the growth of our regional Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing our Digital Pathology strategy, leading regional activities to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, focusing on market share capture.
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage Digital Pathology sales opportunities in large and medium-sized competitive accounts across the full funnel process.
  • Partner with Account Managers and the EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
  • Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share.
  • Support the tender response team on technical application processes.
  • Communicate the value of our Digital Pathology solutions to customers and represent our competitive advantages.
  • Apply data-driven sales tools to maximize results and optimizations.

**Requirements**

  • University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, including knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment.
  • Competitor and market awareness, with a background in Imaging and Digital Pathology being an advantage.
