Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team in Spain and Portugal. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business, ensuring the implementation of the DP strategy, and leading the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, with a specific focus on market share capture.
- Project Management: Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match customer needs and expectations.
- Sales Opportunities: Manage at the regional level the Digital Pathology sales opportunities in large and medium-size competitive accounts across the full funnel process from lead to implementation.
- Partnerships: Partner continuously with the Account Managers, Regional Sales & EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
- Customer Engagement: Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
- Market Research: Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems market share.
- Tender Support: Support the tender response team on technical application process.
- Value Selling: Able to communicate Vision 24 impact to customers and represent winning characteristics of Leica vs competitors.
- Smart Pricing: Support value selling and smart pricing models.
- DBS Tools: Applies DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and optimizations.
- Education: University's degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, including knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness.
- Skills: Previous experience in a biomedical and sales-oriented environment, with an understanding of the requirements and importance to follow procedures and process in a highly regulated sector by FDA and other government bodies.
- Language: Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, in written and spoken.
- Travel: Willing to travel within defined territory up to 60% of the time.
