Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director for Iberia Region to join our team at Brenntag. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and leadership roles, with a strong understanding of the Iberian market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities within the overall segments and utilize customer and market potential to achieve growth.
• Support the sales growth of the product group.
• Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance.
• Provide input for supply chain improvements.

Leadership/Relationships:

• Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant supplier communities.
• Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and have the ability to manage and influence, without having direct authority.
• Lead an internal network for local product management who are focused on the product group to ensure delivery of the strategies.

Sales Strategy:

• Define and implement sales strategy and guidelines for Iberia Food.
• Set sales targets, budgets and allocate resources.
• Manage assigned internal and external AM teams.
• Cooperate with Business Development, Customer Service and PM/IMM and share best practices.
• Contribute to product development projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional companies.
• Work experience in international settings.
• Master's degree (e.g., Food technology, Engineering, Economics) or similar level of education.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as cultural sensitivity.
• High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.

• Ability to take ownership and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiastic, determined and highly motivated.
• Proven teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to work collaboratively and influence where no formal hierarchical relationship exists (matrix structure).
• Solid knowledge of MRP and CRM systems.
