Job Overview

The Remote Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and developing sales strategies to meet company objectives. This role involves engaging with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to present our services and close deals. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, the Specialist will play a critical role in driving revenue and supporting client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and establish relationships through cold calling, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, consistently following up to move leads through the sales cycle and secure new business.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements by asking insightful questions, offering tailored solutions, and presenting relevant Zephyrus Engineering services.
  • Presenting and Closing Sales: Deliver virtual presentations, product demos, and proposals that showcase our value proposition. Work to convert leads into customers through effective sales strategies.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Team: Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and with the broader sales team to align on goals, share insights, and improve sales processes.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities. Update information regularly to provide real-time insights to the sales team.
  • Market and Competitor Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to refine sales pitches and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a remote setting and in industries related to engineering, construction, or technical services.
  • Self-Motivation and Discipline: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and engage effectively with clients.
  • Persuasion and Negotiation Skills: Ability to influence decision-making processes, overcome objections, and close deals.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software: Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, update records, and manage the sales pipeline.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and career growth opportunities.
