About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's vendor recruitment team as a Senior Retail Partnership Specialist. You will be responsible for onboarding and scaling customer-relevant brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail. Your key objectives will include developing partnerships with new vendors, prospecting, assessing, reaching out to, and launching new vendors on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and reach out to new vendors, analyzing their potential for Amazon.
  • Lead first steps by cold-calling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs, confidently explaining the advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon.
  • Act as a business consultant to new vendors, providing insights and advice while dealing with different business profiles.
  • Help new vendors integrate their catalogue data into the Amazon platform, master Amazon's internal tools, and train vendors on how to use these tools.
  • Negotiate annual terms with a vendor to ensure long-term sustainable growth on Amazon.
  • Plan, conduct, deliver, and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors.
  • Develop and improve recruiting and onboarding processes, assist in removing technical blockers, identifying technical improvement areas, and renegotiating terms if profitability deteriorates.
  • Own a project in MVR and drive results working with cross-functional stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of retail or business management/consulting experience with negotiations and delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPIs.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite.
  • Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
