Business Development Engineer for Commercial HVAC Solutions in Madrid

Company Overview: Imi Precision Engineering is a leading provider of hydronic valves and control systems that deliver warmth, comfort, and energy efficiency. Our solutions cater to both residential and commercial spaces, focusing on climate control and sustainability.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer to lead our sales efforts in the Madrid region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with major commercial HVAC contractors, consultants, and OEMs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop annual sales plans in collaboration with the Head of Sales, outlining key objectives and actions for target accounts and regional contractors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with major accounts, focusing on key drivers and branded products.
- Identify decision-makers at client bases and understand strategic business challenges and priorities.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop business by pursuing prospects, promoting products, offering solutions, and achieving sales targets.
- Negotiate customer contracts in accordance with our overall company sales strategy.
- Cordinate the activity of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact to prioritize a consistent and cohesive service.
- Cordinate customer events in their regional area.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must possess an engineer's degree or equivalent experience with a commercial sales engineering background. A proven record of success in business development, combined with strong technical and business knowledge of the HVAC industry, is essential. Experience working with major contractors and consultants on solution-oriented designs is also required.
Estimated Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
