Pan-European Sales Director for Fisher Scientific Europe

The Pan-European Sales Director for Fisher Scientific Europe is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and sales expertise. As part of our successful global organization, you will be encouraged to perform at your best.
We are looking for a highly experienced sales professional with extensive experience in the Life Science/Biotech industry, preferably with some time spent in Inside Sales. You should have multiple years of successful sales management experience, leading a large team and managing managers.
In this role, you will lead an ambitious pan-European sales team, driving growth among small, mid-sized, and remote customers. You will apply data and digital tools to optimize sales efficiency and performance, targeting customer segments such as Pharma, Biotech, Academia & Industrial.
Your key responsibilities will include setting and achieving or exceeding sales and margin targets through new business wins and share of wallet growth, managing daily, monthly, quarterly, and long-term sales metrics and forecasting processes, and developing and implementing pan-European processes and standard work protocols.
You will also collaborate with Sr Segment Directors to bring segment strategies to bear on the customer base, identify sub-segment trends, and work with marketing and strategic pricing to develop and launch campaigns that optimize opportunities and improve team focus.
This role is fully remote (working from home) based anywhere in Europe, but regular international travel - between 25-50% of working time, including overnight stays - will be required to support your team and attend customer and supplier meetings.
Estimated salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes competitive remuneration, a sales incentive plan bonus scheme, and a wide range of employee benefits.
