About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Energy Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Energy & Utilities business unit, you will be responsible for driving sales execution with AWS Global Strategic ISV and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build executive and field relationships with partners, customers, and the AWS team to drive top-line revenue growth in the AWS Energy accounts group.
  • Work with AWS Partner Development Managers and broader APO Segment teams to identify and engage partners focused on solution areas including Line of Business Applications, Big Data, IoT, Migration, Managed Services, Digital Transformation, and Energy & Utilities Industry Solutions.
  • Collaborate with GSI and ISV partners to source new engagements within global accounts.

About the Team

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, enabling them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a solid technical sales background to interact with technical leaders within and outside of AWS.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales and partner/business development in the Energy industry.
  • Experience working with Global Accounts in the Energy Vertical.
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives, both business and technical.
  • Experience working effectively across different sales, business development, and technical teams.
  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
  • Prior experience working with Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors in the region to drive strong customer outcomes and new sales growth.
  • Prior direct sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience with complex bid and proposal processes that bring together multiple partners to formulate and submit winning proposals.
