About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our Supply Chain EHS efforts in Mainland Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining tactical plans to meet overall EHS objectives and contributing to the Supply Chain EHS Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain EHS team in Mainland Europe, ensuring compliance with European EHS legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and implement EHS plans and strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Retail stakeholders to deliver EHS excellence and support the Primark Safe Today, Safe Tomorrow program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party operators, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure EHS compliance and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collect and analyze EHS data to inform business decisions and drive improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience with senior management exposure.
  • Qualification in an EHS field to Degree level or NEBOSH Diploma level.
  • Knowledge of European EHS legislation and regulations.
  • Flexibility to travel to relevant locations as required.
  • Experience in Construction, Automation, DGSA, or vehicle standards is advantageous.
