About the Role

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional EHS Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our global EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Policies and Programs

Develop and implement global EHS policies, procedures, and programs that follow regulatory requirements and align with Cisco's goals. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and our internal policies.

Provide EHS Training and Education

Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and other partners to foster a safe and environmentally responsible working environment. This includes developing and delivering training programs, as well as conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

Serve as Primary Point of Contact for Regulatory Agencies

Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies on EHS matters, including reporting, permitting, and inspections. This includes ensuring that all necessary documentation and records are maintained in accordance with local legal requirements and Cisco's document retention policies.

Lead Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analyses

Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses for any EHS-related incidents, identify corrective actions, and develop preventative action plans to prevent recurrence. This includes conducting regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Manage EHS Documentation and Records

Manage EHS documentation and records in accordance with local legal requirements and Cisco's document retention policies. This includes ensuring that all necessary documentation and records are maintained, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Support Regional EHS Objectives

Support regional EHS objectives in EMEA, including developing and implementing regional EHS programs and initiatives. This includes working closely with local partners and stakeholders to promote a safety culture throughout the organization.

Bridge between EHS Team and Local Partners

Be the bridge between the EHS team and local partners, providing expertise, guidance, and support to enable understanding and compliance with EHS processes, systems, and requirements. This includes developing and delivering training programs, as well as conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and +5 Years of Related Work Experience

Bachelor's degree and +5 years of related work experience in EHS or a related field. This includes experience in developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and programs, as well as conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

Specialist Training and Language Capabilities

Possess a minimum training accredited by a university in at least three of the specialties below: occupational medicine, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and psycho-sociology. Additionally, have a high level of both Spanish and English language capabilities (reading, writing, and verbal communication).

Project Management Experience

Have project management experience, including experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives. This includes experience in working closely with local partners and stakeholders to promote a safety culture throughout the organization.
