Cisco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional EHS Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our global EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global EHS policies, procedures, and programs that meet regulatory requirements and align with Cisco's goals.
  • Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and partners to foster a safe and environmentally responsible working environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies on EHS matters, including reporting, permitting, and inspections.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses for any EHS-related incidents, identify corrective actions, and develop preventative action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage EHS documentation and records in accordance with local legal requirements and Cisco's document retention policies.
  • Lead local safety committee meetings and corporate safety initiatives.
  • Support regional EHS objectives in EMEA.
  • Act as a bridge between the EHS team and local partners, providing expertise, guidance, and support to enable understanding and compliance with EHS processes, systems, and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and +5 years of related work experience in EHS or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum training accredited by a university in at least three of the specialties below: occupational medicine, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and psycho-sociology.
  • Specialist training in the fields detailed above, of no less than 600 hours.
  • High level of both Spanish and English language capabilities (reading, writing, and verbal communication).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence and engage coworkers at all levels of the organization.
  • Good technological skills and capable of learning new tools and software.
  • Proficient in using basic office software such as PPT, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Project management experience.
