Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Drug Product Division (DPD) Legal team, you will provide front-line legal support for site operations throughout Europe and North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance areas, including commercial, anti-trust, regulatory, licensing, controlled substance, quality, and data privacy.
  • Assess legal risks and provide recommendations and alternative mitigating resolutions to Sites and senior management.
  • Advises on commercial/business complex disputes, including vendor and client escalations, investigations, and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with Group Contracting team, Regional counsel, and Functional counsel as needed for support on matters.
  • Support contracts related to client services and sourcing, including proposals, SOWs, etc.

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a lawyer in a European jurisdiction (preferably a UK jurisdiction) from an internationally recognised University / law school.
  • Proficient in the English Language, both verbal and writing.
  • Strong PQE (preferably in-house or international law firm) with a commercial focus gained from within a fast-paced consumer good and/or other multinational companies.
  • Global life science, health care or highly-regulated company is a plus.
