Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to join our Drug Product Division (DPD) team. As a key member of our global legal team, you will provide front-line legal support for site operations throughout Europe and North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance areas, including commercial, anti-trust, regulatory, licensing, controlled substance, quality, and data privacy.
  • Assess legal risks and provide recommendations and alternative mitigating resolutions to Sites and senior management.
  • Collaborate with Group Contracting team, Regional counsel, and Functional counsel as needed for support on matters.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to lead, anticipate, and drive solutions for a range of legal and business issues.
About the Role:

This is an on-site/hybrid from our Glasgow site or 100% remote role. You will work closely with our global teams to develop solutions for some of the world's toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe, or helping find cures for cancer.

Requirements:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical law and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, anti-trust, and licensing laws.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
