Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Own the P&L and work on forecasting, budgeting, and hitting operational/financial targets.
- Financial Review and Analysis: Review financial information and key operational ratios, conduct cause analyses, and propose possible correction measures.
- Asset Management Support: Participate in meetings with the Asset Management team to provide support and assistance gathering relevant data that explains the performance of the portfolio.
- Leasing and Occupancy Analysis: Support the operations leasing reporting process to track and analyze leasing and occupancy performance and trends and highlight opportunities for rental growth or corrective marketing activity.
- Market Data Analysis: Assist on tracking competitor pricing and performance and collate market data for the business.
- Key Performance Indicators: Work with other functions to track key performance indicators and provide regular and consistent reporting to the business.
- Acquisition Analysis: Support new acquisition analysis and its subsequent asset execution (opening of the asset).
- Efficiency Projects: Lead efficiency projects to maximize the value of the portfolio.
This role will report to the Data & Insight Manager; although work will also be assigned by the Operations Director. This role acts as the first point of contact for Sin nombre's Student and Multi-Family Operations department and Central Services in relation to regular performance data/metrics and requests for data and analysis. The role will be a contributor to the weekly/monthly/quarterly operational reporting. This role might require visits to properties or external meeting locations. The role will cover predominantly Iberia portfolios.
Key RelationshipsThe role will interact with Regional Operations Managers, Community Managers, and other colleagues in Property Operations Management, Investment and Development, Asset Management, HR, Accounting and Finance, Facilities/Maintenance, Sales and Marketing, as well as senior management. This role will have some interface with external suppliers.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in business performance analysis, financial planning, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the gathering, analysis, reporting, and presentation of business-specific data, preferably in a related sector.
The successful candidate will possess excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a commercial perspective. They will also have the ability to process and manage different forms of data, identify errors and anomalies in documents and reports, and apply an investigator mindset to understand the bigger picture and contribute to understanding and solving challenges.
We are looking for a team player with excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare commercial-standard business correspondence, reports, documents, and business proposals. The ideal candidate will also have excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and show good judgment under pressure.
