This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of Amazon Shipping in Spain. As a highly driven and entrepreneurial individual, you will join the Business Development team and be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of large companies in Spain. Your key responsibilities will include detecting opportunities, negotiating with external companies, and closing sales, as well as collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight Amazon customers.

You will be part of the organization's leadership team and help implement the overall strategy and direction. Your ability to establish top-level relationships with customers and assess their needs will be crucial in finding the best solutions for them. You will also work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the needs of customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and executing to meet or exceed goals. You will excel at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly ambiguous environment. Your experience in developing trustful relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including key accounts and teams across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Legal, will be essential in this role.

This role will be based in Madrid and will require moderate travel within Spain. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in business development, sales, and account management. They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership: be part of the organization's leadership team and help implement the overall strategy and direction
  • Customer relationship management: building and maintaining strong top-level relationships with potential future strategic customers
  • Cross-functional collaboration: working with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the needs of customers
  • Dive deep: measuring performance, identifying gaps and opportunities, and leading the team to address them
  • Business development: bringing new customers to Amazon, developing the volume of shipping packages, ensuring good conversion rates, and doing it with profitability in mind
