Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely completion of month-end financial processes. Collaborate with the Finance Department for reconciliation tasks. Assist in processing and managing student payments. Oversee the application of manual Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) for students. Ensure daily posting and depositing of all cash receipts. Manage common email communication to guarantee prompt responses. Provide assistance to financial aid, recruitment, and registration initiatives as necessary. Ensure accurate execution of end-of-day procedures. Adapt to various duties as required.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within an educational environment. Proficiency in Spanish, English, and French is essential. Familiarity with desktop applications, particularly Microsoft Windows and Word. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required. Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, is advantageous. Must demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills are necessary.

We have established a new Financial Services team to deliver accounting support across our business units, and we are seeking experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialists to join our efforts.

This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate processing of daily cash receipts, managing Financial Aid manual EFT postings, handling credit card transactions, and addressing NSF and foreign currency check issues, all while providing excellent customer service related to student inquiries, under the guidance of the AR Supervisor. The position also involves overseeing day-to-day processes and facilitating month-end activities.
