Country Sales Manager Spain

Travel Recruiter, a renowned international travel related company with offices worldwide, is seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager for the Spanish and Portuguese markets with a background in the airline industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sales strategies and activate a sales & marketing plan to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain regular contact with customers through visits, email, or telephone/Teams communications, as well as represent the company at relevant local trade fairs and events.
• Oversee and monitor revenue development and budget sales, while identifying and negotiating with potential partners.
• Work internally with other office teams as well as the headquarters to maximize business opportunities and search for new business opportunities.
• Regular reporting to the Regional Director and possibility to work from home, requiring a self-organized person.
Requirements:
• Airline or Travel Industry Sales experience is a must.
• Experience in managing a team, high communication and social skills, cheerful and positive attitude, while being respectful and professional.
• Expert user in Office 365 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills) and experience in distribution technologies (GDS, NDC, etc.).
• Ability to analyze local market and trends, identify and negotiate with potential partners, and work internally with other office teams as well as the headquarters.
• Strong experience in B2B negotiations and sales management, written and verbal communication, complemented by presentation prowess, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational aptitude.
• A high level of fluency in English is essential (Portuguese knowledge is an advantage) and strong sales skills with a proven track record in the local Spanish and Portuguese travel industry.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products, and procedures, and ability to travel on duty trips.
• Hard-worker, organized, self-sufficient, and energetic, with knowledge of marketing, online tools + social media, PR, desirable.
