Country Sales Manager - Mexico

Empresa Reconocida is a European company that designs and manufactures detection-based solutions, the associated connectors and wiring splitters for automated systems and for control equipment, mainly for the Automotive Industry in metal working, vehicle bodies, mechanical parts, engines, and gearboxes.

The company offers customer value-added benefits with technological innovation in both standard and customized solutions ranges. The company has a presence across five continents.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the commercial activity in Mexico, working in partnership with the Sales Manager of the Hispanic World and Eastern Europe to develop and implement strategic plans that meet the company's goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of consolidated experience as Sales Manager, preferably with technology and solutions for control equipment and machinery in the Automotive Sector, supporting their engineering and maintenance teams.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the activities by setting tasks, objectives, and priorities, achieving the sales goals visiting key customers, and managing customer relationships through the sales team assuring that they meet the organizational sales goals.

The Sales Manager will also be responsible for recruiting and developing a team of salespeople to manage existing customers and prospect for new ones, organizing all departments in the subsidiary to work in concordance with the goal to achieve, and to correctly develop the daily tasks.

The Sales Manager will ensure commitment to and compliance with all laws and regulations throughout the organization and assure that the sales team works according to the company rules in terms of communication, confidentiality, and work methodology.

The Sales Manager will also be responsible for assuring the rentability of the subsidiary.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic.
  • More than 10 years of consolidated experience as Sales Manager, preferably with technology and solutions for control equipment and machinery in the Automotive Sector.
  • Spanish: Native.
  • English: at least B2 level.
  • Willing to be permanently relocated to Mexico. Willing to travel extensively within Mexico (70% of the work time must be on customer visits).
  • Communication, negotiation, and proactive skills.
  • A technical person, with a strong sense of concretization through action.
  • Excellent business skills and leadership ability.
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills, conflict resolution skills.
  • Customer-oriented, must have real skills for commercial activities.
  • A goal-oriented person, driven for results and persistent.
  • Strong sense of opportunity, attentive to the market and customers.
