About the Role

The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a leading research center addressing global public health challenges through cutting-edge research, policy translation, and education. We are seeking a highly motivated Master Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the in vitro activity and stability of novel antimicrobial molecules against multidrug-resistant bacteria.
  • Investigate the mechanism of action of these molecules against target bacteria.

Requirements

  • Previous laboratory experience in microbiology, particularly in antimicrobial resistance.
  • Training in molecular biology.
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
