About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Master Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for managing activities related to the project "Desarrollo de dos nuevas estrategias (inhibidores de bombas de expulsión y ARN antisentido) activas frente a bacterias multirresistentes".
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the in vitro activity and stability of molecules with antimicrobial potential against A. baumannii, P. aeruginosa, and K. pneumoniae.
- Investigate the effect of cyclic peptides on genes essential for the viability of the aforementioned microorganisms.
Requirements
- Previous laboratory experience in microbiology, particularly in antimicrobial resistance.
- Training in Molecular Biology.
- Excellent organizational and teamworking skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
