Master Researcher for National Project Fis 'Development of Two New Active Strategies Against Multiresistant Bacteria'

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master Researcher to join our team at the Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona (ISGlobal) for a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities related to the project 'Desarrollo de dos nuevas estrategias (inhibidores de bombas de expulsión y ARN antisentido) activas frente a bacterias multirresistentes'.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the in vitro activity and stability of molecules with antimicrobial potential against A. baumannii, P. aeruginosa, and K. pneumoniae.
- Investigate the effect of cyclic peptides against genes essential for the viability of the aforementioned microorganisms.
- Participate in the general organization of the research group and ensure that all research lines are correctly carried out.
- Provide support to team members, including PhD students, post-doctoral students, visitors, and other lab technicians.
- Previous laboratory experience in microbiology, particularly in antimicrobial resistance.
- Training in Molecular Biology.
- Excellent organizational and teamworking skills.
- Responsible, flexible, and with problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and with great initiative.
- Demonstrable adaptability and flexibility to adapt positively to change.
