Galderma is a leading dermatology company with a strong commitment to ethics and compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Operations Specialist to join our Global Ethics Compliance team in Barcelona, Spain.

About the Role

This is a critical role that will play a key part in maintaining and advancing Galderma's Compliance Program. As a Compliance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for a broad range of compliance-related activities, including:

  • Managing compliance tools, systems, and platforms, including Galderma's Speak Up Hotline, Compliance Risk Management Platform, and e-Document Management System (eDMS)
  • Developing and delivering training on these systems to relevant audiences
  • Supporting implementation projects of new fit-for-purpose tools, ensuring user-friendliness and compatibility with existing tools and Galderma's ways of working
  • Reporting out of relevant data from these tools and systems to key function and business stakeholders
Key Responsibilities

As a Compliance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing compliance policies and procedures, including establishing and maintaining a central Compliance policy repository
  • Supporting subject matter experts in establishing new and revising existing policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that compliance policies and procedures are published on eDMS and on relevant internal channels
  • Providing project support to SMEs as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral)
  • 5+ years of legal, compliance, or equivalent business experience in a global role, preferably working in or on behalf of a healthcare company
  • Experience of operating in an in-house legal and/or compliance department environment, applying high levels of precision and diligence in work products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking and coordination skills
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to get up to speed with new tools fast
  • A self-starter mentality, solution-oriented, and with a high level of proactivity
