About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
  • Processing specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line.
  • Delivering in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
  • Early interactions with existing and potential customers for the purpose of joint development of solutions together with the sales team.
  • Possessing capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and support in developing prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions.
  • Travelling 30 to 60 days per year within the Hub Europe area for customer visits and demos.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant technical work experience.
  • Substation Automation knowledge and experience within Offshore projects and solutions, especially in the SCADA area of electrical HV solution applications.
  • Understanding the Grid connection in Offshore Wind projects and solutions, preferably also with some Wired communication or SCADA experience.
  • Digital substation experience will be a plus.
  • Good communication and presentation skills and ability to learn.
  • Fluency in English. Any other language is an advantage.
