Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team at Hitachi Energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
  • Processing specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line.
  • Delivering in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
  • Early interactions with existing and potential customers for the purpose of joint development of solutions together with the sales team.
  • Possessing capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and support in developing prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant technical work experience.
  • Substation Automation knowledge and experience within Offshore projects and solutions, especially in the SCADA area of electrical HV solution applications.
  • Preferable with site experience and cyber security knowledge as well.
  • Understanding the Grid connection in Offshore Wind projects and solutions, preferably also with some Wired communication or SCADA experience.
  • Digital substation experience will be a plus.
