Job Title: Technical Presales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Presales Specialist to join our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and capturing new market opportunities in the segment of distribution automation, in collaboration with local sales units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
  • Possess specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line.
  • Deliver in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
  • Perform customer interactions like demos, proof of concepts, and presentations.
  • Prepare to travel 20 to 40 days per year within the Hub Europe area for customer visits and demos, both virtual and face-to-face.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.
  • Active, energetic, and open approach.
  • B2B pre-sales or Technical Project experience within Distribution Utilities.
  • Good communication and presentation skills and ability to learn.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English; any other language is an advantage.
