About Portals Hills Boutique Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team at Portals Hills Boutique Hotel. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out

Register guests warmly and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and processed accurately.

Front Desk Operations

Perform check-ins, check-outs, and cashiering duties, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preparatory Tasks

Complete preparatory Front Desk tasks, including room assignments, rack checks, pre-registrations, group pre-registrations, and processing VIP procedures as instructed by the Front Office Manager.

Guest Service and Support

Provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests, handling requests and resolving issues in a quick and professional manner.

Communication and Teamwork

Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, working collaboratively to ensure seamless service delivery.

Administrative Tasks

Complete and update guest profiles, assist with individual reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and guest concerns.

Quality and Standards

Follow standard operational procedures of the department, maintaining high standards of quality and service excellence.

Additional Responsibilities

Carry out duties requested by the department head, assist other departments when required, and promote and sell the hotel's promotional activities.

Revenue Management

Check shift revenues, count cash at the end of the shift, and promptly report deviations to the department head.

Knowledge and Skills

Stay informed about hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance, ensuring service areas and equipment remain tidy, well stocked, and in optimal working order.

Requirements

  1. Education

High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.

Language Skills

Fluent in Spanish, English, and German.

Technical Skills

Opera Cloud experience required.

Soft Skills

Excellent oral and written language skills, experience with several hotel operation systems, excellent organization and communication skills, friendly and customer-oriented, attention to detail, problem solver, good listener, flexible, and team spirit.
