Job Summary
Portals Hills Boutique Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized attention and ensuring their stay is enjoyable and hassle-free.
- Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, handling room assignments, key distribution, and other related tasks.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain open communication to prevent conflicts.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk tasks, including room assignments, rack checks, pre-registrations, and group pre-registrations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Revenue Management: Process transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy in revenue management.
- Hotel Knowledge and Promotion: Stay informed about hotel facilities, services, and promotions, and effectively communicate this information to guests to enhance their stay.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish, English, and German.
- Technical Skills: Experience with hotel operation systems, such as Opera Cloud.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
