Job Title: Technical Account Manager

About the Role:
As a Technical Account Manager at New Relic, you will be responsible for engaging with our customers on a technical level, driving their success, and adoption of our products. You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their technical requirements, and provide guidance on implementing our solutions to meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute customer success plans to ensure customers achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Success, Support, Data, Product, and Engineering, to provide customers with the best possible experience.
  • Conduct customer quick start outreach, understand customer product architecture, and provide guidance on implementing New Relic solutions.
  • Drive progress in maturing customers through the Observability life cycle.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to customers to give them better insight into their systems or a better understanding of their data.
  • Help customers overcome technical issues through troubleshooting and in-depth analysis.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to customers with installations, configurations, creating custom dashboards, custom queries, set-up alerts/AIOps, and deployment automation.

Requirements:
  • Professional experience in a similar field, such as Technical Account Management, Presales, or Solution Architecture.
  • Cloud platform experience, such as AWS, Azure, or Cloud Foundry.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and containerized architecture experience, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and customer interactions to anticipate and guide client needs.
  • Understanding of microservice architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Project Management skills to track, manage, and drive customers to agreed-upon timelines with agreed-upon resources.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Observability tools, such as New Relic, Sumologic, Data Dog, ELK, Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, etc.
