About the Role

Linde Portugal is seeking a highly skilled IT Application Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Applications landscape in alignment with the company's strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date information related to Applications, including SLA, CMDB, Inventory, and Risk Assessment.
  • Manage software licenses for server-based and desktop Applications.
  • Manage Change Management activities related to Applications.
  • Act as the IT Service contact for projects led by other IT areas.
  • Manage activities related to the upgrade, replacement, or decommissioning of Applications.
  • Drive business understanding of the IT environment, collect business needs, and monitor Applications KPIs.
  • Coordinate with business and other IT areas for the deployment of new Applications features.
  • Align and manage the implementation of Global IT policies, including SSO, Security, and Data Privacy.
Requirements
  • Education in computer science.
  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in IT Services Management, preferably in the Applications area.
  • Knowledge in Applications architecture (on-premise and cloud), Data Protection, and IT Security standards.
  • Service-oriented (ITIL v3 or v4) with management skills and ability to adapt quickly in an IT changing environment.
  • Fluency in English and local language.
