Offshore Wind Transport and Installation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Sener, specializing in the transport and installation of offshore wind projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and delivery of engineering services for offshore wind projects.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Strategy and Support: Participate in contract strategy discussions and provide market overviews to support business development.
- Installation Scheduling: Develop installation schedules for the construction phase, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
- Port and Infrastructure Management: Engage with local ports and determine infrastructure upgrade requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
- Design Considerations: Assess design considerations, including equipment, noise mitigation, and innovative installation methodologies, to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Vessel Specifications: Define vessel specifications for the installation of floating wind turbines, mooring pre-lay, and cable designs.
- Technical Due Diligence: Deliver technical due diligence assignments, supporting large and complex finance transitions, and taking responsibility for the T&I scope.
- Project Management: Take a project role in the T&I Package, managing package interfaces, program, risk, and change management processes, and leading a multidisciplinary project team.
- Standardization and Coordination: Support standardization processes and initiatives, developing standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the T&I scope in international projects.
- Documentation and Communication: Prepare and coordinate documentation to participate in future offshore wind auctions and development phases, and ensure effective communication with clients.
- Education: Master's degree or PhD in civil, structural, marine, mechanical engineering, naval architecture, or equivalent.
- Experience: 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with at least 5 years in offshore wind energy, and a deep understanding of offshore transport and installation matters.
- Language: Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial and proactive approach.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, with experience in project management, technical interfaces, and project finance management.
