Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Structural Integrity department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing structural calculations for critical wind turbine components, such as blades, bearings, shafts, and bolted joints. Your work will be conducted in accordance with current international standards, applying principles of strength and elasticity of materials, as well as finite element techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced structural analysis of wind turbine components using finite element techniques.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for our clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Maintain a strong, client-focused relationship, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience with CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.
  • Proficiency in finite element software, preferably ANSYS.
  • Programming skills in Python and/or MatLab.
  • Proficiency in office automation tools, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • English language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
  • Solid knowledge of machine design.
  • Familiarity with static failure criteria (Von Mises, Tresca).
  • Understanding of fatigue failure criteria.
  • Knowledge of structural dynamics.
  • Knowledge of composite materials.
