Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Structural Integrity department at Nabla Wind Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced structural calculations for key wind turbine components, including blades, bearings, shafts, and bolted joints. Your expertise will be applied to ensure compliance with current international standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis of wind turbine components using advanced techniques, including finite element analysis.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical reports for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience with CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.
- Proficiency in finite element software, preferably ANSYS.
- Programming skills in Python and/or MatLab.
- Proficiency in office automation tools, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- English language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Solid knowledge of machine design and structural dynamics.
- Familiarity with static and fatigue failure criteria.
- Understanding of composite materials and their applications in wind energy.
