Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Drive Train department. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for planning, calculating, designing, developing, and validating mechanical concepts and subsystems for our wind energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical components, such as large casted components, forged structural components, suspension systems, fixation mechanisms, and subsystems.
  • Explore innovative mechanical concepts and complete complex mechanical studies and designs.
  • Clarify design and interface requirements with stakeholders.
  • Perform CAD design using NX and Teamcenter, including advance surface modeling, large assemblies, and collision checks.
  • Perform rough calculations on main components using analytical methods.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including 2D drawings with GPS, and project deliverables such as DFMEA, DRA, and CRS.
  • Execute design reviews and balance important requirements.
  • Participate in prototype and pre-series assembly in the workshop and implement lessons learned.
  • Support production ramp-up of the first units before series.
Requirements
  • Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • Thorough practical experience and responsibility in mechanical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a global team and manage different cultural contexts.
  • Result- and customer-oriented approach.
