The Opportunity
As a Mechanical Engineer at H2SITE, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products, ensuring their safety, robustness, and high process performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing containerized solutions for hydrogen separation and production
- Designing pressure equipment, such as reactors, tanks, and heat exchangers, in accordance with ASME and EN codes
- Defining skid structure design and load analysis
- Tracking equipment assembly and mechanical commissioning
- Ensuring the routing of process lines in modular skids for equipment maintenance
- Generating, reviewing, and updating technical documentation, such as constructive drawings
- Supporting H2SITE equipment certification
- Providing support to the R&D department to optimize the design of H2SITE reactors
- Supporting QHSE policies and programs development
- Reporting unsafe conditions and adverse environmental events
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- MSc in Industrial, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or a similar field
- Knowledge in Project Management and Safety in the Chemical Industry
- +2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Competencies in accountability, building partnerships, building trust, communication skills, embracing change, interpersonal skills, managing conflict, strategic thinking, teamwork, and collaboration
