Key Responsibilities- Develop Planning and Specifications: Develop and manage the planning and specifications of offshore geotechnical site surveys, ensuring that all necessary requirements are met.
- Geotechnical Discipline Management: Manage the geotechnical discipline within projects, ensuring that all aspects of geotechnical engineering are properly addressed.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact with clients, responsible for the preparation of deliverables within the expected timeline, budget, and quality.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate project developments in the bid and execution phases, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Document project results and ensure knowledge transfer between projects, ensuring that all necessary information is properly recorded and shared.
- Risk Management: Identify, quantify, and articulate project delivery risk to enable transparent and fully informed business decisions to be made by project leadership.
- Education: Master's degree or PhD in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
- Experience: 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with at least 5 years in offshore wind energy, and a deep understanding of offshore geotechnical design matters.
- Skills: Several years of work and practical experience in offshore geotechnical engineering, including numerical modeling and seismic design. Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, and desirable experience in offshore wind floating projects.
