Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans and specifications for offshore geotechnical site surveys, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead the geotechnical discipline within projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, responsible for the preparation of deliverables within the expected timeline, budget, and quality.
- Coordinate project developments in the bid and execution phases, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support the preparation and coordination of documentation to participate in future offshore wind auctions and development phases.
- Contribute to technical development and knowledge transfer between projects, ensuring continuous improvement and best practices.
- Document project results and attend project meetings with clients, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Identify and mitigate risks within offshore wind engineering, ensuring transparent and informed business decisions.
- 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with at least 5 years in offshore wind energy.
- Master's degree or PhD in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
- Several years of work experience in offshore geotechnical engineering, including numerical modeling and seismic design.
- Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, with experience in offshore wind floating projects.
- Experience in geotechnical offshore site investigations and ground model definition.
- Experience in offshore wind foundation design, including driven piles, drilled piles, monopiles, and other types.
- Experience in cable routing and subsea trenching equipment selection.
- Experience with landfall design, including open and HDD solutions.
