**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our offshore wind team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for offshore substations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop electrical system designs for offshore substations, ensuring compliance with project system design and grid codes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external simulation engineers to oversee and evaluate electrical modeling works.
  • Develop electrical component specifications, including transformers, shunt reactors, and GIS.
  • Oversee EPC contractor works in electrical engineering, from early design to commissioning.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy infrastructure projects, preferably in HV substation projects.
  • Good knowledge of electrical HV components, including transformers, shunt reactors, GIS, and STATCOM.
  • Experience in electrical design works, managing EPC contractors, and electrical interface engineering.
  • Preferably more than 3 years of experience in offshore wind projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Valid EU work permit.
