Renewals Account Manager

Riverbed Technology is seeking a highly skilled Renewals Account Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Renewals Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction through effective maintenance renewal sales and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and deliver high-volume renewal quotes for maintenance contracts within 90-120 days prior to expiration.
- Review and interpret contractual terms and conditions to ensure accurate pricing and negotiation.
- Develop and execute creative deal structures to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Validate customer asset lists and ensure accurate contract management.
- Collaborate with field sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage customer requests for contract merges, transfers, and license purges.
- Provide timely resolution of backlog in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with marketing, support, sales management, product management, and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
- Multiple years of previous experience in sales, specifically software maintenance renewals.
- Ability to negotiate and up-sell maintenance offerings and build relationships both internally and externally.
- Account planning experience and involvement in the alignment of sales, channel, professional services, and training teams around renewal events.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to forecast maintenance bookings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a quota-driven environment.
