Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Environment Program Manager to join our Cloud Operations & Innovation team at Microsoft Games. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish Strong Relationships with Customers

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.

Oversee Datacenter Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in our datacenters.

Manage Electrical and Mechanical Equipment

Manage, plan, control, and organize the planned preventative and corrective electrical and/or mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor Performance and Ensure Compliance

Utilize CMMS to monitor the performance of electrical plant and machinery, ensuring work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the plant and equipment, and ensuring compliance with infrastructure operations standardization.

Act as Escalation Point

Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter, escalating to the Data Operations Manager as needed.

Assist Technicians and Provide Input

Assist technicians in times of emergencies, job training, and providing input/recommendations on electrical/mechanical design parameters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in datacenter operations, electrical and mechanical equipment management, and customer relationship management. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
