Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics activities. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing assigned warehouse and/or logistics activities and processes, ensuring operational management of logistical providers and/or internal employees in line with specifications, orders, and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management & Stock Control: Reorders materials and/or equipment as needed, registers these in relevant databases/systems, provides input on supplier performance, and manages materials, tools, and equipment in stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery.
  2. Inbound Goods and Storing: Coordinates the intake of incoming materials/equipment, checks and registers for quantity, damages, and completeness, organizes unloading and storage, and ensures items are stored correctly.
  3. Order Handling: Receives and processes orders from customers, selects, checks, packs, and distributes materials/equipment to ensure efficient, timely, and correct delivery.
  4. Outbound Goods and Transport Planning Scheduling: Ensures goods are transport-ready, prepares dispatch papers, and supports routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer records.
  5. Systems and Administration: Executes the administrative intake and distribution of materials/equipment in relevant systems, ensuring high-quality logistics processes.
  6. Customer Satisfaction: Manages customer relationships and ensures that all requests are handled appropriately to maintain customer confidence.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Monitors, measures, and evaluates logistics processes, tools, and systems, initiating changes for continuous optimization.
  8. Compliance: Ensures compliance with operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.
  9. Other Duties: May perform a wide range of other warehouse/logistics support and administrative tasks as assigned.
